Historic Buildings

Our portfolio includes a significant number of heritage properties (Grade I, Grade II and Grade II* listed) including our City office at Wardrobe Place (built 1674). We understand and support the preservation of London’s built heritage and the sensitivities in specifying repairs and obtaining necessary consents for such projects. Our founder’s interest in heritage properties is exemplified by his dissertation studying ‘The survival of the English Country House’.

Our Estate Managers have experience working with designers and Historic England on complex major works projects of listed and other heritage assets. Our approach is as follows:

  • Understand planning and listed building requirements.

  • Deliver major works projects to ensure the building is in good repair.

  • Appoint a suitably qualified project team.
